Christmas in the Country
Don't forget our feathered friends at Christmas! Decorate an outdoor tree with suet blocks, birdseed bells, and hollowed-out orange halves filled with birdseed. The squirrels and chipmunks will love them, too!
i LOVE my bird feeder.....we keep it filled for our little feathered friends...this time of year we see many blue jays, cardinals, nuthatches, juncoes and woodpeckers from time to time...i love it!! we have a squirrel proof one that we bought from LLBean..and it really works as you set it for an animal's weight....so...when large crows land on it, the trap door shuts and no food for them...and of course none for those pesky squirrels. we definitely don't encourage feeding the squirrels around here :)
