Christmas in the Country

Place some candy canes in a Mason jar and tie with a pretty bow.  What a simple, country touch of Christmas!

I did that one year!! and got alot of compliments on it....I kept it by the stove so the girls could grab one and stir into their hot chocolate. we don't really eat em anymore but I do have a little Santa with arms outstretched and he "holds" the candy canes...I got it at a country craft store....this year dave is giving it away as a yankee swap gift...lol....

Neither me or Donny like candycanes. I just like the way they look. I keep my candycanes in the freezer year after year to use at Christmas. This year they were crushed : ( Must have gotten something thrown onto them. Well, I certainly got my money's worth out of them!
